There's definitely different strategies but I hope this at least gives you some ideas on what you can try. Between the different team set ups I did beat all the stages for 3* in the time requirement to acquire an orange shard. I ended up using Rhonda and Dirandil on the harder boat levels (Dirandil's abilities tore through those mobs armor/ defense buff like butter). I used Elhain and Rhonda to 3* almost all levels all the way through brutal (I forget what it's called now but I put gear that heals when doing damage, on Rhonda to buff her survival). as weird as it sounds, the fewer champions you use, the levels are somewhat easier because none are being carried. and last, if you notice one of your champions seems to really be lacking in comparison to others in damage or survival, you may be better off dropping it and having one less in there to get passed the level. if you're playing on auto play you can also set up the ai to have your champions either use or hold their abilities on each pack to accomplish the same thing (on the screen where you're confirming your team). if it's the 3rd pack giving problems, you can get away with using big abilities on the first pack and possibly also the 2nd (try "cycling" - use hero A's big ability on one pack, hero B's big ability on the next etc). for example, if the first pack doesn't give problems but the 2nd pack does, only use basic abilities on that first pack. the second is taking note which pack of mobs is giving the most trouble, and make sure you have big abilities available to use on them. sometimes just a piece or 2 makes that difference to make the mobs fall over. I don't recall the exact stages but one was the dragon boss in the desert, and a few levels on the boat were challenging as well.įirst, make sure you're upgrading your champions gear. When I was playing Raid there were certain levels that gave me problems too.
